Workshops and Creative Conversations for Organizations
Some of the most meaningful learning begins with curiosity.
I collaborate with libraries, schools, museums, arts organizations, historical societies, festivals, and community groups to create workshops and conversations shaped around their people, purpose, and stories.
Rather than offering a fixed catalogue, I begin with a conversation. Together, we consider who will be in the room, what the organization hopes to explore, and what kind of experience would be most meaningful.
A collaboration may take the form of a single workshop, a series of gatherings, a creative community project, or a facilitated conversation. Depending on the group, experiences may be offered in English, French, or bilingually.

Photographing Everyday Stories
Meaningful photographs do not require extraordinary places or expensive equipment.
Using a phone or camera, participants explore how light, composition, and careful observation can help tell stories about everyday life, relationships, memory, and community. The focus is not technical perfection. It is learning to see.
Writing from Lived Experience
Every story begins somewhere.
Through gentle prompts and conversation, participants begin with lived experience rather than polished ideas. Together, we explore how ordinary moments can contain some of our most meaningful stories.
Seeing the Extraordinary in the Ordinary
How do we learn to notice?
Photography, journaling, sketching, and conversation become ways of looking more closely at familiar places, overlooked details, and everyday objects.
Photography, Words & Zines
Photographs and words have always belonged together.
Participants combine images, writing, and simple design to create journals, artist books, or zines that tell personal and community stories. This format can be adapted for schools, libraries, community organizations, and intergenerational groups.
Land & Lives
Inspired by my ongoing documentary project, Land & Lives, these gatherings explore the people, places, traditions, and everyday moments that shape a community.
Together, participants may consider questions such as:
Who are the people whose stories deserve to be remembered?
What makes this place feel like home?
How can photography, writing, and conversation help preserve the stories of a community?
Creative Conversations
Sometimes the most meaningful gathering begins with a question rather than a lesson.
A facilitated conversation may explore creativity, storytelling, photography, memory, belonging, place, or another theme connected to the work of your organization. These gatherings are designed to encourage reflection, curiosity, and meaningful exchange.
Shaped Around Your Community
Each collaboration is developed with the organization involved.
Workshops can be adapted according to:
The age and experience of participants
The size and needs of the group
The language of the gathering
The available time and setting
The interests of the community
The goals and resources of the organization
No previous artistic or writing experience is required unless otherwise specified.

I am a writer, photographer, artist, and educator with more than thirty years of teaching experience.
My work brings together photography, writing, visual art, documentary practice, and thoughtful conversation. Across these different forms, I am interested in the same essential questions: how we notice the world, how we tell our stories, and how creativity can help people connect more deeply with themselves, one another, and the places they call home.
